REMINDER!!
Turn in team jackets/long parka orders by early next week.
No payment necessary until we see whether we qualify for the price break.
Just indicate sizes, color, and whether you want front only, or front/back embroidery.
Parents: Look over the order and note that the back side is for ordering the long parka.
Your family may want the shorter jacket for yourracer's regular use, but the long
parka is great for them on colder days andfor parents while they are spectating.

EVERYONE is expected to participate in our own Invite, the
Mt. La Crosse Cup, Monday, Feb. 6th. We already have 6-8 out-of-town teams
coming in (many coming a day early to train).
MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOUR TEACHERS WELL IN ADVANCE!!!!
PARENTS: We need volunteers to help fill the worker positions. We need
one person with computer skills to assist Karie Oelke,
who does the scoring for our conference races.
We also need one or two persons for the race office.
We need gate judges for both the ski and snowboard competition
as well as result board recorders.
Course workers are also needed.
If you can help, please email Lois to let her know your preference.

** Snowboard t-shirts will be available at State too but they
usually don't have a contest. We'll keep you posted.

***There is a new item to add: a quilted jacket, but we need to order a minimum
of a dozen to get the price down to around $50.

OPPORTUNITIES - WE NEED YOU!!
We need a Treasurer for AOWS Racers. Our current treasurer no
longer has a racer on the team. He is helping us out until we find
a replacement. It does not take a lot of time. Please consider this position.
We also need a Fundraising Chair Person or two to head up Face Painting
during Riverfest. It's already organized. We just need someone to coordinate
the volunteers. We also need someone to coordinate the selling of sponsorship
opportunities for our Spring Championship Race - a big AOWS fundraiser.

great support! Once the season gets busy at the hill, it's a lot for
them to answer questions from our group and they may not always
