SUNDAY SLALOM OVERVIEW
What is it?
Sunday Slalom, or Sunday Cup Series, is the longest running race series at Mt. La Crosse.
It is sponsored by the La Crosse Ski & Snowboard Club.
Test your skill on a more challenging course. Compete with your friends.
Who Can Race?
All skiers and boarders, old and young alike. Participants compete in groups by age and gender, from Kinder Cup'ers to Senior Men's and Women's. Age brackets are the same as NASTAR.
What Does it Cost?
The series is sponsored by the La Crosse Ski & Snowboard Club.
Cost is $5 for 1 run per individual plus unlimited practice runs during 11a.m. to noon.
A Sunday Slalom Race Pass may also be purchased
for $30 which includes 7 races - a $5 Savings!
What Kind of Race is It?
This will be a legal slalom course for skiers. Snowboarders will have their own
course and will run after the skiers.
Are there Awards?
Awards will be given to the top finishers in each age group. Overall season-long trophies will be awarded at the end of the series. Stay tuned for when and where.
When are the Races?
Racers will have a practice course to use from 11 am to 12 noon. Course inspection is
from 12 to 12:30. Races begin at 1 p.m. each Sunday of the series season.
